A day in the countryside.

We were out the door and on to the road bright and early.




Staff are our family at each stop. We rely on them for all sorts of things - and on their patience as we communicate.




Motorcycles are numerous. We have encountered more motorbikes in Colombia than anywhere else on our trip.




Horse transport is common, too.




The milk trucks were out collecting cans of milk from the farms along our route...




...delivering it to this dairy factory.




I asked a man what the plant was. He lifted it and...

Perhaps that is why they are carrying umbrellas.
