Farewell Iceland

Stunning landscapes,
Rugged beauty all around.
Isolated places made accessible by roads, ferries and tunnels
Good design, great food,  art and music intrinsic in everyday life.
Free education and heathcare.
No military - apart from the fisheries patrol
No tipping.

We have felt welcome here.
We have been blessed each day.

Now it is time to say farewell...

A delicious taste of home!

A whole wall in the Simmer Dim restaurant on board Norrona  extolling NZ beef.

Farewell Iceland.

Leaving the safe harbour of the Fjord for our next adventure.
