Day 15: Mena AR to Eureka Springs AR

Run for the Wall arrived at this gas station in Ozark at the same time as we did.
What a sight. Hundreds of motorcycles on their way from California to Washington D.C. for Memorial Day next weekend.
In eighteen minutes they were all fuelled up and ready to ride on.
We spoke with some of the men who had completed the run many times.
What an impressive group. Palpable camaraderie.
Everything was highly organised in efficient military style.
Run for the Wall is an annual veterans' cross-country motorcycle Run from California to Washington DC.
The mission of Run for the Wall is to:
- promote healing among all veterans and their families and friends
- call for an accounting of all prisoners of war, and missing action POW-MI
- honour the memory of those killed in action in all wars
- support US military people all over the world.

I hope that the mission is achieved for this group.

That those who seek healing will be healed on their motorcycle journey.
