Melbourne to Lakes Entrance

Our time with family is a joy and a delight.
 Bill driving and Mia as pillion.
 Our lovely time with family draws to a close and we set off...

 We stop for coffee and are warmly invited to join the South Gippsland Ulysses club members.

 We stop near Agnes at the southern most point of our journey.
We head North east and the sky brightens.
The sun comes out.

 La Trobe River floodwaters are receding.
Isaiah 42;2a When you pass through water, I will be with you; when you pass through rivers, they will not overwhelm you;

We decide to stop at Lakes Entrance for the night.
More colour in our day at the port which is one of the biggest fishing ports in Australia.

We stop for hot chocolate and mmm....truffles. Graeme tells us that he found the original recipe dating back to 1882 in an antique chest that originally belonged to his Great Grandmother. The original document was written in French and he only discovered it was a truffle recipe when he had the document translated.

 I am totally seduced by the truffles and the hot chocolate.

 Thank you for sharing your wonderful story, Graeme.
 Thanks for the hot chocolate, Hannah.

A delicious, colourful end to our day.
