McLaren Vale - perfect place for a day off the bike

Sherri Jo took us to this special place along the south coast near Adelaide.
Hallett Cove Conservation walk way. Stairway?
Magnificent views along the way.

We taste soursop flowers. Sure enough they are sour. Members of the oxalis family, I suspect.
Water flows down a series of waterfalls down to the ocean.
Gliding over the cliff tops - vicariously.
We head out to Port Willunga for lunch and then visited Neil and Chris Collard.
We discovered yesterday that Neil has been following this blog. It was his 75th birthday today.  Happy Birthday Neil.
We visit some vineyards

We tasted a range of Ekhidna shiraz and enjoyed a bottle with dinner.
Winemaker Matt Reschner talked with us about the geology of the McLaren Vale and about wine making in this region.  He makes luscious red wines.

Spring has sprung.
