Kingston to Melbourne

Bleak grey sea skies and cool temperatures did not deter us.
We looked inland and could see the lighter sky.
There is plenty of surface water that tells us how wet it has been.
But, today we encounter no rain until we ride up the driveway of our destination.
Lush green Victorian pastureland - a change from the grain fields of South Australia.
A road train had tipped over on the NW highway and we had a lovely detour through farms beyond Horsham.

Storm damaged trees. The wind is mild today.
Into Melbourne and slow moving traffic that crowds around us.

Sculpture to brighten the grey day.
as we head for a wonderful warm family welcome in Brighton.
