The way of the cross...

Symbols of faith leapt out from the landscape today.

We rode through mountains and valleys. Lush with plantations of tamarillos, bananas, coffee, berryfruits, fields of rice and maize and sugar cane.
We were in the garden of Eden.

Simple crosses, made from local materials: bamboo, local trees, cement.

Evocative in their simplicity.

We all see the cross in our own way.

Sometimes it is in plain sight.

Sometimes the cross moves out of focus for us.

John 3:16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
