Yellowstone National Park

Bison aka buffalo were the stars of our visit to Yellowstone National Park.
A lone beast welcomed us as we arrived at Yellowstone Lake.

Hundreds of bison were placidly grazing in a grass basin.

Ahem, why did they give us this warning notice....

...because a stampede is possible. May the best man win.

Oh, no! Now he is after us...

Time for a gathering where the iron horses go.

And for some divine reassurance.

We saw mud pools, geysers and pink and white terraces, too.
